We are hosting a taps takeover week, commencing on Tuesday 9th September with a distinctive selection of beers we think you will love from Outstanding Brewing Company, Bury. There is also an opportunity to ‘Meet the Brewer’ from 8pm-10pm on Thursday 11th September.
Outstanding Beer Menu:
3.9 Extra pale, light and hoppy. 3.9% ABV – This beer gives smooth mellow bitterness combined with a fresh passion fruit aroma.
Red Copper coloured, mellow and biscuity. 4.4% ABV – Light and malty balanced with delicate hop bitterness.
Blond Pale, citrusy and refreshing. 4.5% ABV – Packed with flavour whilst remaining light and fresh.
Stout Jet black, thick and liquorice flavours. 5.5% ABV – This award winning beer is dry and bitter balanced with roasted barley and liquorice flavours.
IPA Pale, golden, dry and bitter. 5.5% ABV – This is a complex yet well balanced golden IPA.
Imperial IPA Golden colour, dry and strong. 7.4% ABV – This strong, hoppy beer is to be savoured.
Ramsbottom Festival Ale Pale session beer. 3.9% ABV – Brewed by Outstanding Brewing Co. with their friends at Silver Street Brewery, Bury.

So after 6 months from conception we have finished our first night trading at Chorley’s first Micro-pub. Thanks so much for all the support we have had locally and further afield. We have had a fantastic time and hope our customers enjoyed it too.

We are ready! Join us on Friday 8th August, 6-11pm to celebrate the launch of Shepherds’ Hall Ale House and to try our range of cask ales from Adnams, Allgates, Bowland, Wychwood and Burton Bridge. We also have cider, a selection of wines and bottled continental beers.

We are almost ready to open our doors. The walls are painted, the signs are going up and the ale is on order! The official opening date will be posted as soon as we can. It has been a fantastic adventure so far. Thanks to all the local trades who have helped us to get ready for opening and to family members for their help in scraping, painting and sampling!
